Redmi Note 8 Pro to Use MediaTek Helio G90T, Redmi Note 8 with Snapdragon 665

As a sub-brand of Xiaomi, Redmi has shocked the world by presenting the Redmi K20 Pro and Mi 9T Pro that both have Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Octa-Core chipsets.

Meanwhile, Redmi is also rumored to want to improve its budget segment line with powerful chipsets. This can be seen from the announcement that Redmi will launch Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro.

In the announcement, Redmi Note 8 will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Octa-Core chipset and Redmi Note 8 Pro will use the MediaTek Helio G90T chipset.

You could say the Snapdragon 665 chipset has started to be used by some budget segment smartphones because its powerful performance is offset by its low battery consumption.

While the use of the MediaTek Helio G90T on the Redmi Note 8 Pro is even more interesting because this one chipset was created specifically to handle gaming performance on smartphones to run smoothly and smoothly.

In other words, the performance of the MediaTek Helio G90T chipset is higher than that of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665. However, this is fairly reasonable considering that the Redmi Note with the Pro label has higher specifications than the regular Redmi Note.

Interestingly, Redmi Note 8 Pro will use a 4,500 mAh battery capacity. With a battery with a capacity of this size, most likely its durability can reach all day under normal use.

In addition to the large battery capacity, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will use 4 rear cameras with a main camera that reaches 64 MP. While the Redmi Note 8 will also have 4 rear cameras with a 48 MP main camera.

If the Redmi Note 8 Pro will have a Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor capable of taking photos up to 64 MP, the Redmi Note 8 will use a Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor with the ability to take photos up to 48 MP.

Of course this leak is interesting because it shows that the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro will have high hardware specifications for the budget segment, large capacity batteries, and attractive camera capabilities.

For that, let's just wait until the official launch date, which is held on August 29, 2019. Do you think you prefer Redmi Note 8 or Redmi Note 8 Pro?
