Google Chrome 75 Released! With Reader Mode, and 42 Security Improvements!

Google has released Chrome 75 to the Stable desktop, with new features and 42 security fixes, with two of them marked as High severity. With this, Windows, Mac and Linux desktop users can update to Chrome 75.0.3770.80 by going to Settings -> Help -> About Google Chrome and the browser will automatically check for new updates and install them if available.

Google Chrome 75.0.3770.80 comes with a number of new features, one of which is the flag Reader experimental mode that allows users to view web pages in a simplified mode by selecting Customization and controlling Chrome> Distill page.

This option is disabled by default but is very easy to activate by going to  chrome: // flags / # enable-reader-mode

'Distill Page' has also been added to the browser's main settings menu to make it easier to activate Reader Mode after Flag Mode Reader has been activated.

Reader The new Google Chrome mode will allow users to delete all unnecessary clutter from web pages and bring important content - headline, text and images - to make articles easier to read.
Of the  42 security fixes  provided by Chrome 75.0.3770.80, 13 of them were reported by external researchers, while the rest were found and contributed by internal audits, fuzzing with the help of AddressSanitizer, MemorySanitizer, UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer, Control Flow Integrity, libFuzzer, or AFL, and other initiatives.
Two high-level security improvements were tracked as   CVE-2019-5828  and   CVE-2019-5829  patching after-use of free vulnerabilities in Service Worker and free after-disabled use in each Download Manager.
